Coventry Carol (solo piano)

Christmas is usually a time for peace and joy, yet this carol expresses the sorrow and lament of parents who lost their children in Herod’s Massacre of the Innocents. Pain is an all too real human emotion and the holidays are a difficult time for so many people. Expressing pain through music might even help in finding joy.
